Halloween Fun with Bakersfield Community Healthcare!

Our Adult Activity Center kicked off the holiday with a festive Trunk or Treat. Great big thank you to all of the community partners who volunteeredered to decorate a trunk!

Our B*H community liaisons spent the week celebrating across Bakersfield—decorating doors, dressing up, painting and decorating pumpkins, and yes… even serving as a human piñata! 😂🍬

Columbus Estates invited Bakersfield Community Healthcare to their annual celebration- afternoon filled with tasty food, fun raffles, and community spirit-all while supporting our Socktober Sock Drive benefitting the Wounded Heroes Fund!

Wounded Heroes Fund is a local non-profit that provides assistance, resources, and a supportive community to post 9/11 Veterans and their families right here in Kern County.

While most people were out enjoying a Friday night, our Community Liaison, Justina, was busy spreading joy and lending a helping hand at the Boys and Girls Club of Kern County Artfest.

Community and Veteran Liaison Justina Howell, proudly represented Bakersfield Community Healthcare at the 2025 Oildorado Civic Luncheon.

As a Taft girl through and through, it's always special for Justina to celebrate one of the longest-standing traditions in Kern County - The Oildorado festival, which began in 1934 to honor Taft's rich oil heritage and the hardworking. Men and women who helped fuel America's energy industry.

We are proud to support this historic community and recognize the vital role the oil industry continues to play in our local economy, familie, and future.

Here's to the people who keep our community strong, from the rigs to the boardrooms and to the Kern County pride that runs deep.
