In observance of UV Safety Month, it is vital to emphasize sun protection to minimize the risk of skin damage and skin cancer. Important precautions include seeking shade during peak sun hours (10 am to 4 pm), wearing protective clothing like long sleeves and wide-brimmed hats, using sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher, and wearing sunglasses that block UVA and UVB rays. Avoiding indoor tanning beds is also recommended.🌞
