Hello friends, it is with strong mixed emotions, Root Hill Acres, will no longer be in business in NC anymore. Between hurricane Helene and family dynamics we will be moving out of state and no longer pursuing the awesome goals we had here in WNC.
We love all of you, thank all of you and look forward to seeing WNC rebuild stronger than ever before!

Root Hill Acres will be at the Yancey County Farmers Market this Saturday 9/14 from 8:30am until 12:30pm with some yummy nutritious microgreens and I’ll have a few dozen eggs as well 🥚 🥚
FYI: due to life priorities this will be my last Saturday at the market.
BUT!!!
I will be participating in the winter pre-order market so if you want to sign up for my email list let me know! That goes for the microgreens and the eggs.
Also, I will be applying to come back next market season.
Can’t wait to see everyone there in the morning🙌

Hello friends!!
Root Hill Acres will be out at the Yancey County Farmers Market tomorrow, Saturday 8/31.
Market starts at 8:30am and goes until 12:30pm
I will have my yummy microgreen mix boxes along with my sunflower and broccoli boxes, aaannnddd I’ll have 9 dozen eggs with me as well.
I have decided to do a Labor Day sale on the microgreens so if you want to know what that is you have to come and see me!!

Hello friends, Root Hill Acres will not be at the Yancey County Farmers Market this Saturday but I will see everyone on 8/31 with all the microgreens and eggs.
If you’re in the Bakersville area you can stop by Just Local and get some of my Spring mix or Sunflower microgreens. Also tell Megan I said, Hi 👋

It’s that time of week again. Time to harvest 🔪 the microgreens for the Yancey County Farmers Market.
I will be providing my:
Spring mix
Basil mix
Zesty mix
Supa Healthy mix(formerly known as antioxidant mix) I am adding chia microgreens to that mix.
Sunflower
Broccoli
Radish
Pea shoots
And
Arugula (I can usually only get 2 boxes out of that harvest, so get there early if you want arugula microgreens)

So, what’s up with the Chia?🤷🏻‍♂️
They are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, fiber, protein, vitamins, and minerals, which can lead to, improving your heart health and the ability for nutrients and oxygen to get around your body. Also fiber isn’t just for lowering cholesterol or helping you 💩, it allows growth of the good bacteria in your gut. Happy gut happy body and brain.

Happy Friday friends!
Tomorrow will be a great day at the Yancey County Farmers Market!
I will be there with my yummy microgreens as usual and a few dozen of eggs.
I will be limited on my boxes of microgreens tomorrow but there will be some of each, spring, zesty, basil and antioxidant mixes.
Also some broccoli , pea shoots and sunflower microgreens.
Come out and see all the amazing vendors!
