Springtime Gold: Morel Mushrooms in Western North Carolina!
If you’ve ever stumbled upon a morel mushroom in the wild, you know the thrill - they’re like nature’s treasure! These honeycomb-capped mushrooms start popping up in Western North Carolina as early as late March and can be found through May, depending on elevation and rainfall.
Where to Look:
