What is Twerkout?

Twerkout isn’t about chasing a smaller body.
It’s about claiming the one you’re in. It's more than a twerk class or poppin' your b***y and shaking your body. It's also a body strengthening HIIT group fitness class hiding in a 45 minute session of empowerment! 💃🏽🏋‍♀️

This is strength training disguised as joy.
Cardio wrapped in confidence.

Mobility, stamina, and hips that remember they were built to move. For the woman who’s been told to “tone it down,” to "act her age", or to shrink, hush, and behave—nah. Not here.

We train glutes, core, legs, and mindset.
We sweat. We laugh. We twerk (and squat) with intention. Sometimes we use dumbbells or even chairs to enhance your experience and strengthen all those areas I mentioned.

It's like a BBL without the surgery 😉

So come as you are. Leave louder, stronger, and unapologetically in your body.

Studies say 30 minutes of dancing can reduce stress & boost brain function... meanwhile this is me Monday through Friday trying not to start a full Zumba routine at the printer. 😂💃🏽

But seriously — movement like dance helps lower cortisol, support gut health, and calm the nervous system. Especially for women 35+ navigating perimenopause, bloating, and that ‘why am I so tired?’ feeling.

This isn’t about burning calories.
It’s about feeling human again.

So Thursday I turned the lights off in class and we jammed in the dark under a strobe laser light show!! It was popping y'all! I had such a blast. Shout-out to the ladies that made it and jammed with me! 💃🏽💃🏽

I wish I had went live though but sometimes the best memories are the ones in our hearts and noggin! ✨️

Put the world on hold and remember to take an hour for you!!! Even if that means coming to class or waiting until the kiddos fall asleep and having a glass of wine, reading a book or whatever makes you happy💛
