So last year around this time, I had just returned to teaching Zumba classes. But prior to that class attendance was so low, I couldn't afford the studio rental anymore... I was on the verge of quitting altogether. I didn't realize just how much it taken a toll on my waistline. But it wasn't just the reduction in cardio, I was stressing, over people, money, work, home and so much.
And then I jad the chance to not only teach at a conference but attend a Tony Robbins webinar... the spark came had came back! I began creating a safe space and setting better boundaries. I started taking classes and doing my CECs to maintain my certifications, bettering my experience and rebranding.
Fast forward to the pic on the right, teaching regularly again, and staying up on my regular daily workouts and meal planning.
But nonetheless, these last few weeks, I have felt amazing. My energy levels and focus on point, my health has been still great... in both pics.
This isn't a weight-loss post. Because I've been bigger than the photo on the left and smaller than the picture on the right. I'm not chasing numbers in a scale, or specific weight results.
This ain't a physical transformation... it is more about my mental health and maintaining my peace. Because without that, no matter who you see in the mirror, you will never be happy with it.
