Today was our ‘Dr B’s’ holiday lunch for the OR staff at Christiana care Surgicenter. All year, long,my wonderful nurses and our OR staff look forward to this fabulous luncheon which my wife makes every year. They work so hard for my patients and take such good care of us; do, we wanted to do something nice for them to say thanks. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everybody!!

We just saw this lovely 67 year-old woman, two months after a deep plane facelift and she couldn’t be happier. She had her face first facelift when she was in her 50s and came back to me for her second one to just “freshen up”!! Keeping patients age-appropriate and natural looking is really the key to a great facelift. At this visit, I did her fillers to complement the facelift and was able to soften the lines that didn’t resolve with the fat transplant, I did during her surgery. I always do the fillers myself so that I can keep my patients looking natural rather than handing them off to a nurse or PA for their ‘fine tuning’. I believe this helps me to maintain a good relationship with my patients. I help manage their aging process so that they don’t look too unnatural. That’s the secret.

We just had our annual, Office, Christmas brunch at the lovely Urban Farmer restaurant in the Logan Hotel, Philadelphia. My whole staff came and I was able to thank them all for a the great job they did this year!! I feel blessed to have such a great group of people working with me!! They give their hearts and souls to each and every one of our patients. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!! We look forward to seeing everyone in 2026!!

We hope everybody had a wonderful Thanksgiving and you had plenty of friends and family together for this wonderful holiday. My brother and his girlfriend with our longtime friends to Picard from London came to stay with us and we had a wonderful time. We even got to play tennis! Happy Black Friday everyone!

I see this problem all to often: aging silicone implants which feel normal. When in fact, statistically, at 19 years old, 90-95% are leaking or ruptured and affecting patients’ health, silently. This 72yo women had her implants for over 20-25 yrs and they seemed fine. However, she had been to multiple dermatologists for a migratory skin rash which no one could figure out why it would come and go. It wasn’t until she had a a car accident, which required a subsequent MRI, that they identified an intracapsular rupture of both implants. This was by chance only.
I found a long standing leak which must have affected her health; so, I am glad she came in when she did. This 4 1/2 hour surgery saved her life!! I would like to encourage all patients with silicone implants, over 15 yo, to please come for an evaluation or request an MRI of their breasts so we can help you change implants to saline or explant them and the ‘capsule all together.

I had a great day yesterday at the Phil Kramer gallery, where I was photographed for Philadelphia style magazine’s Top Plastic Surgeons’ issue. Phil Kramer has such a great team of professionals, and I am grateful for all the shots they took of me. What a fun experience!! I’m looking forward to see what full page photograph they will pick for the December , 2025 issue👍👍.

Happy Birthday to my wonderful wife Stephanie!! We spent an awesome day in Lambertville, NJ, visiting a few antique shops and ending up in her favorite jewelry store: OAKGEM. Vadim and Sasha found her a beautiful present and then we had dinner in our favorite restaurant in Lambertville: The Broadmore.
What a fabulous day for both of us. Happy Birthday Sweetheart!!😘🎉🎂🥳🎁
