Hello, welcome to Willow Emotional and Relational Health! I am Lacey, and like many others I have had the privilege of being in many roles throughout my life. Some of these roles include foster mom to hundreds, homeschool mom to two, daughter, sister, friend, wife, Christian, and the most recent, Student Therapist here at Willow Emotional and Relational Health, LLC. As a student intern in the Master of Science in Family Therapy program at Friends University in Kansas City, I am working under the supervision of a licensed clinical faculty member who is a licensed marriage and family therapist and an AAMFT-approved supervisor. The lesson learned from each of these roles is that life is HARD! We all have our struggles and how we define those will be unique to each of us. I love helping people process the more trying times in their lives and regain power and control over them.

I started down this therapeutic path many years ago serving our youth in foster care. I spent time with my kiddos and their families intensely listening and meeting them where they were. Helping them identify the sources of fear, pain, and concern, then assisting them find a way to tackle their challenges and prioritize next steps on their journey. The successes my families had inspired me to start down the path I’m on today.

One of the most important things about me is that I am passionate about people. I love to work with people that think and operate differently from me, as I learn from each of them. Helping individuals and family units, overcome experiences of heartbreak and despair, work toward self-discovery, & obtain new coping skills, is my calling.

Hello! My name is Katie! I look forward to getting to know you and experiencing this journey alongside you. I often tell my clients that you are in the driver’s seat, and I am there to help guide and direct you, but ultimately, we are in this together.

As people, we may have had experiences that impact our interactions with other individuals. Such experiences may create responses that protect us from the pains of our past. My goal is to help you have a better understanding and appreciation for all pieces of yourself.

The models of therapy that I often utilize are Satir Growth Model, Experiential Therapy, Bowen Therapy, and Internal Family Systems Theory. Although these are the primary models of therapy that I use, I am trained in other models of therapy. This, along with my consistent endeavor to learn as a therapist, allows me to better cater to the needs of you as a person. My training took place at Friends University in marriage and family therapy.

I am now offering remote sessions within the state of Kansas.

I am Nicole-wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend, therapist, and owner at Willow Emotional & Relational Health, LLC! Often times I am asked if I am a "Christian Counselor." To that I respond, "I am a therapist who is a Christian, undeservingly saved by God's grace and mercy alone! My professional licensure, however, is in Marriage & Family Therapy, not in Christian Counseling." Each client system is different in all kinds of ways, and whether or not ones own spiritual beliefs are brought into the therapy room is up to each individual.
In 2010 I started my therapy career in the rural southwest corner of Kansas, and now practice in Northeast Kansas, here at Willow! I have had the pleasure of sitting across from hundreds of individuals looking to better their relationships, lives, understanding of oneself, heal trauma or wounds, along with many other presenting issues. I have come to learn that I relish the opportunity to sit across from couples the most, and have a heart passion for helping teens and their parents/those that love them understand and navigate the season of adolescence more intentionally and less bumpy!
Life can get difficult, relationships can lose their luster, wounds are tough to live with... and sometimes a little support and guidance from a professional therapist can make things easier, if not even better. I honor the courage that it took for you to come this far in your pursuit for well-being and something different. Meet Isaac!

Isaac Reppert is one of our Master Level Intern Therapists from Friends University! Isaac sees clients at Willow a few days per week. He provides in person therapy and telehealth services as well!

If you are interested in starting therapy with Isaac please reach out 785-594-5357! Because he's unable to bill insurance at this stage in his career development, his services are private pay at the flat rate of $20 per session!
