We had an incredible asset management session last night, in which top real estate operators/investors Christina Kovacs and Debbie Wilcox described how they more-than-doubled their net operating income, and halved their expense ratio, on a 43-unit Multifamily property. It was a lesson like no other, in the art and grit of real estate investing!😀

Tonight, we had an extended-hours clinic in order to serve hard-to-reach patients from the Kiki ballroom scene. Suddenly, my evening went from “real estate” to “realness”… from “brokers” to “Balenciaga”!😀

We had a lot of doctors at an investor event last night at Dorrian’s NYC. I was grateful to be with these amazing folks, and so grateful for SharpLine®, Lindsey Duguet and husband Michael, Yosef your Brosef Lee, Rajat Eshan Lamington, M.D., Dr. Melissa Bhikham and husband Dar, Dr. Gupta and his wife Dr. Anita, Marco Barbaro, Lauren Ziminsky, Chris Jackson, and so many more for making it happen 😉. We talked shop, and we also talked about the coolest thing in the world… real estate!!😀

Resilience.

This patient comes from Trinidad and Tobago, and she has weathered enormous adversities. Struggles we would never dream of. We were happy that she finally got her electric wheelchair. And we are so happy she is a part of our Housing Works family. She wanted to take a picture to send to her mom back home.

A week after our OPC (overdose prevention center) arrest, we went to D.C. to protest the defunding of PEPFAR and EHE (ending the HIV epidemic).
