Best of luck to our Blackcat and Fusion players that are playing in the U16 National Semi Final tonight at 7 p.m. Way to represent WI! Also, good luck to our Director of Hockey, Ryan Lindquist and coach Bella Rasmussen from BHA as they are coaching this team at the National Tournament! We are so proud of them all!

Another 65 kids got to experience learning to skate with Blackhawk Hockey coaches and players! They are a special group and we look forward to them returning in the fall. Phenomenal job little skaters! A lot of future hockey players in these photos. 🖤🏒

HUGE Congratulations to the Fusion skaters who are a part of WEHL Western! An incredible achievement to make it to the National Championship game!! Go WEHL Western! Also, congratulations to Coach Mike DeLong who is the head coach for them. Nice work coach!

🎉🏆 WEHL Western plays in the national championship game today at 1:30PM at Plymouth Ice Center in Plymouth, Minnesota!

WEHL Western Head Coach Mike DeLong shares his excitement regarding last night’s win and today’s national championship game:

“Wow what a game. Huge win tonight and we are so happy for the girls getting the opportunity to play in the National Championship game. The shoot out was crazy. I had Letti, Oaks, and Duck written down as our shooters after our Monday practice. When I said their names they all kind of looked at me like”who me?” Our goalies were outstanding. Evie (Pritzel)and KG(Kaitlyn Gustafson) have split half games the whole tournament. Evie playing first half and KG playing the second. They gave up zero goals today including the shoot out. Our team is unselfish and has a ton of worker bees that keep bringing it every shift. I don’t think people understand how hard it is to get to the National tournament let alone the championship game. What a season. What a team.

The Fusion came up just short in the WIAA State Championship, falling 5–4 to De Pere Bay Area. After trailing 5–1 late, the girls fought back with three goals to make it a one-goal game in the final minutes.

An incredible display of heart and determination. We couldn’t be more proud of this team and their run to state. 💙🏒

The Fusion are headed to the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP after an incredible 7–4 victory!

After trailing 4–1, the team mounted an unbelievable comeback, highlighted by four straight goals from Jane Volgren to spark the rally. What a performance and what a team effort!
