We work to make each day a comfortable one – one that brings dignity, relief from pain, and choice in your treatment to our patients and their families. We have proudly served over 15,000 home health, hospice and palliative patients in St. Our expert staff of care professionals includes: medical director; nurse practitioners; registered nurses; aides; medical social services personnel; spiritual counselors; physical, speech, massage and occupational therapists; and a community of volunteers – all prepared to help you achieve the highest quality of living that your health and circumstances will allow.

Our 11th Hour Companions are a special part of Adoray’s Circle of Care, providing a comforting presence in the final hours. These specially trained staff and volunteers offer quiet, supportive presence tailored to each individual. Whether that’s sharing meaningful music or readings, offering Compassionate Touch, or providing other comfort measures. Each moment is guided by what brings peace and comfort to those we serve.

April is National Occupational Therapy Month, and we’re taking a moment to celebrate the incredible impact of our OT team 💜

A heartfelt thank you to Kate, Shannon, Emily, and Cari for the skill, compassion, and dedication you bring into the homes of those we serve each day.

Occupational therapy is so much more than rehabilitation, it’s about restoring independence, rebuilding confidence, and helping individuals safely and meaningfully engage in their daily lives. From getting dressed, to preparing a meal, to simply moving through the day with greater ease, your work brings dignity, hope, and a renewed sense of possibility.

You don’t just care for your patients... you empower them. And that impact reaches far beyond, touching the lives of their loved ones and our community as well.

Behind every mask is a heart full of compassion🎭💜

We are deeply grateful to be “unmasked” as the 2025 Not for Profit of the Year by the Baldwin Woodville Chamber of Commerce. Thank you to everyone who voted and continues to support Adoray’s mission.

For over 30 years, Adoray has helped gently unmask the fears of aging and end-of-life, walking alongside our community with care and compassion.

A special moment of the evening was celebrating alongside one of our incredible We Honor Veterans volunteers, Skip. As our Volunteers are a huge part of this achievement and making our mission possible as a NFP.

To our amazing team, Thank You, for the “superhero masks” you wear every day in service to others. There is no hiding the incredible care you give and difference you make during life’s most difficult journeys!

Together, thanks to our staff, volunteers, donors and community, we are creating something truly beautiful… care that comforts, support that uplifts, and a community that shows up for one another when they need it most.

This month, we celebrate the incredible hands and hearts of all our Adoray Volunteers. In 2025 alone, YOU gave a combined 17,785.19 hours of your time and talents to support our mission, and we can’t thank you enough!

We can’t wait to celebrate all of you at our Annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon at the end of the month. This year, we’re turning up the warmth with a Luau theme, because our volunteers truly warm our hearts with everything you do to care for our patients, families, and community. 🌺🌴

Join us in wishing Lanor a very happy 97th birthday! 🎂💖💐

Our Adoray team recently had the honor of helping make a Dream Big wish come true for Lanor as she celebrated an incredible 97th birthday.

And that smile says everything 🥰 Surrounded by her care team, a dear friend, and a special visit from one of our Adoray Pet Volunteers, her day was filled with love—and a little extra puppy snuggles. With cake, flowers, balloons, and thoughtful gifts, the celebration was complete… but it was Lanor’s smile that truly made the day unforgettable.

What a privilege it is to care for and honor the lives of the incredible people we serve. 💜

In 1995, a group of 4 healthcare providers gathered to help people with life-threatening illnesses die with dignity in Western Wisconsin by creating St. Croix Valley Shared Services (aka Adoray). Today, Adoray Home Health & Hospice is a nonprofit, community-based organization whose mission is “partnering to improve the quality of life throughout serious illness wherever you call home” by alleviating pain and suffering and enhancing the quality of life of patients and their families. Adoray is committed to providing everyone in our 6-county service area of Western Wisconsin with quality compassionate care and support, regardless of their ability to pay. Each year, we provide approximately $200,000 in non-reimbursed nursing care, family support, counseling, supplies, equipment, medication, and bereavement services. Many programs and services are funded by the generosity of grateful families, caring community members and businesses who believe in the hope and support we offer to patients and families facing life’s most difficult journey. Your donations to Adoray Home Health & Hospice allow us to make our programs and services available to everyone in the communities we serve, and your contributions are always tax-deductible. In 2018, Adoray’s exceptional interdisciplinary staff cared for 492 hospice patients and their families. Our specialized Bereavement Team provided guidance and support for over 1,000 bereaved family members as well as those individuals in our community suffering from the death of a loved one. Our organization remained fiscally strong with generous community support from funds raised through general and in memory donations, and event sponsorships. In total generating $42,500 to help offset the cost of the non-reimbursed programs and services. At Adoray Home Health & Hospice, we consider it an honor to provide a lifetime of care and comfort to our patients and their families, and we thank you for the privilege. It is your meaningful support that makes it possible for our patients and their families to receive the comfort of care wherever they call home and support during life’s most difficult transition.
