“The Soniquence Radiofrequency unit represents the best available technology in a surgical cutting device.”

That’s from Dr. who has used multiple radiofrequency systems throughout his veterinary career.

In veterinary surgery, consistency matters. From clean cutting to reliable hemostasis, having precise control during procedures can directly impact workflow and surgical outcomes.

Dr. Mayo specifically highlights the TURBO mode, along with the versatility of the system across different surgical attachments and procedures.

For many veterinarians, experience with RF technology started years ago with Ellman systems.

As many already know, Ellman Surgitron RF devices officially reached end of life in 2024 and are no longer being manufactured.

Today, that same RF foundation continues with Soniquence, bringing modern performance, updated system capabilities, and ongoing support for clinicians who have relied on this technology for years.

If your practice has used Ellman systems in the past, now is a great time to explore what the next generation of RF technology looks like.

We’d be happy to help answer questions about upgrading, compatibility, or available trade-in opportunities.

Not every educational course stays in the classroom.

Last week at the MOAAP Advanced Procedure Course & Lab led by Dr. Nathan Lighthizer, attendees had the opportunity to work directly with Soniquence radiosurgery technology during hands-on procedural training sessions focused on minor surgical techniques.

From electrode handling to live procedural application, the lab emphasized precision, control, and real clinical workflow experience, giving attendees a closer look at how high-frequency radiosurgery can support modern procedural care.

These hands-on sessions continue to be one of the most valuable ways for clinicians to build confidence with advanced procedural technology outside of traditional lectures alone.

Are you still using Ellman technology in your practice?
Soniquence continues the legacy with modern radiosurgery solutions designed for precision, control, and today’s procedural workflow.

Soniquence is at the Pikos Global Summit with Karin, connecting with clinicians focused on real cases, real complications, and better surgical outcomes.

It was great connecting with Dr. Jennifer Hirsch Doobrow, periodontal and implant surgeon, at the Soniquence booth.

For doctors working in periodontal, implant, and oral surgery procedures, precision and control matter in every soft tissue case. Stop by Booth P9 to learn more about how Soniquence supports clean, controlled RF soft tissue surgery.

Redesigned for control, comfort, and precision.

The new Soniquence autoclavable handpiece features a thinner ergonomic profile, improved button control, and a shorter distance between the buttons and tip — giving clinicians a more comfortable and precise experience in hand.

Rated for 30 autoclave cycles, it’s designed with the feel and function today’s procedures demand.

What does 4.0 MHz actually mean—and why does it matter?

In radiosurgery, 4.0 MHz refers to the frequency of the radio waves used to interact with tissue.

At this level, the energy allows for more controlled cutting while supporting coagulation at the same time. This helps maintain a clearer field during procedures and supports more precise tissue handling.

It’s a small technical detail—but one that has shaped how radiofrequency is used across specialties for years.

In fact, this standard traces back to the early development of RF technology through Ellman systems.

That same foundation continues today.

Soniquence builds on it—bringing that level of control into modern workflows, across different procedures and specialties.

If you’ve used Ellman systems before, you’ve already worked with this technology.

How long have you been using RF in your practice?

If you’re exploring what’s next, it’s worth taking a closer look at how it’s evolved.

Sharing a real case from Dr. Jeff Mayo.

This is a cryptorchid procedure in a feline patient, using radiofrequency with the 3-Button Fingerswitch Wand to support controlled tissue handling.

One thing that stands out is how clean the cuts are, with minimal bleeding throughout the case.

It’s small details like this—control, responsiveness, ease of use—that make a difference in how procedures are done day to day.

If you’ve worked with RF before, you probably know what we mean. If not, it’s worth taking a closer look.

Feel free to reach out if you want to learn more about how this fits into your workflow.

Soniquence is on the move.

Today, we’re engaging with clinicians across ophthalmology, veterinary, and dental specialties—demonstrating how radiofrequency technology enhances precision, control, and efficiency in modern surgical procedures.

📍 ASCRS – Washington, D.C.
📍 ABVP – Boston
📍 Pikos Institute

Across every setting, the focus is the same: delivering consistent performance where it matters most—in the hands of the clinician.

It’s been a while since we’ve properly introduced ourselves.

We’re Soniquence.

And everything we build comes back to one thing: control.

Not just power. Not just speed.
But the ability to work precisely, consistently, and confidently—across different procedures and specialties.

Because in the OR, small differences in control can lead to big differences in outcomes.

If you’ve worked with RF before, you know what we mean.
If you haven’t yet, you’re about to see the difference.

Stay with us—we’ll be sharing more real use cases, insights, and techniques in the coming weeks.

Not all vascular treatments require lasers.

RF technology delivers controlled, targeted coagulation - allowing dermatologists to treat telangiectasia with precision while minimizing impact on surrounding tissue.

Want to see it in action? Visit us at AAD 2026, Booth 3656 at The Colorado Convention Center this March 27-29. See you there!
