As Black History month comes to a close, we take time to honor, remember, and celebrate the countless contributions and sacrifices of African Americans throughout history.
We reflect on the resilience of those who endured injustice, the courage of leaders who stood against inequality, and the everyday individuals whose strength shaped communities, industries, culture, and our nation as a whole. From the fight for freedom and civil rights to groundbreaking achievements in science, education, business, arts, and public service, Black history is American history.
We remember the sacrifices made, the voices that were silenced, the barriers that were broken, and the generations who pushed forward despite unimaginable obstacles. Their perseverance paved the way for progress and opportunity that continues to impact us all today.
This month, and every month, let’s commit to learning, listening, uplifting Black voices, and continuing the work toward equity and justice.
