🎶 Happy Hour Highlights 🎶

We had such a wonderful time during happy hour yesterday as we welcomed Sue Alexander to our community! The music filled the room, smiles were everywhere, and our residents truly enjoyed singing along, tapping their toes, and sharing lots of laughter. 🎤 ✨

Moments like these make our community so special — good music, great company, and memories made together. We’re already looking forward to the next happy hour! 💛

We wanted to share this weather update regarding the lake effect snow about to impact our region, and we kindly remind everyone to take extra care, plan ahead, and prioritize safety during this period of winter weather. ❄️🤍

🚨 WINTER STORM WARNING – ONONDAGA COUNTY 🚨

A Winter Storm Warning for lake-effect snow is in effect 7 p.m. tonight – 7 a.m. Wednesday.
A 4-day snow event is expected, bringing 12" up to 30" in some areas. Snow begins tonight and continues through Thursday.

🌨 What to Expect
• Heavy lake-effect snow
• Whiteout conditions – low visibility + high winds
• Delays & possible closures
• Travel may be dangerous — avoid driving if possible

🚗 If You Must Travel
• Fully clean snow/ice off your vehicle
• Drive slowly – do not use cruise control
• Leave extra distance between vehicles
• Don’t crowd snowplows
⚠ Roads may be slippery even if they just look wet

🧊 Stay Prepared
• Check the forecast regularly
• Update your emergency supply kit
• Prepare now so your household stays safe throughout this extended event

🧹 Safe Snow Shoveling
• Dress warmly
• Stay hydrated
• Lift small amounts at a time
• Take frequent breaks

🚘 If Stranded in Your Vehicle
• Run engine 10 minutes per hour to stay warm
• Crack windows slightly for fresh air
• Keep exhaust pipe clear of snow to avoid CO poisoning

🎄✨ What a jolly good time we had! ✨🎄

Our Family Christmas Lunch on Friday was full of smiles, laughter, and delicious food! Residents and their loved ones came together to celebrate the season, share special moments, and enjoy plenty of Christmas cheer. From happy conversations to full bellies, it was a day to remember! 🎅🍽️❤️

Thank you to all the families who joined us and to our wonderful team for making the magic happen. This is what the holidays are all about!

Our halls were ringing with lots of fa-la-la-la-la today! 🎄🎶 A local Cub Scout Troop stopped by to sing Christmas carols, and they absolutely sleighed it! Their energy, smiles, and festive spirit had our residents tapping their toes and singing along. Huge thanks to these awesome Scouts for making our day extra merry and bright! ⭐🎅

🎅🚒 A Special Visitor from the Belgium Cold Springs Fire Department! 🚒🎅

We had a very special guest stop by our community over the weekend — Santa Claus himself! Thanks to our wonderful local fire department, Santa arrived in true heroic style, bringing smiles, laughter, and plenty of holiday cheer to our residents.

Our residents loved the chance to visit with Santa, share their Christmas wishes, and enjoy this festive surprise. We are so grateful to our local firefighters for taking the time to make this season extra magical and for all they do for our community year-round.

Moments like these remind us what the holidays are all about — kindness, connection, and joy. ❤️🎄
