Hi everyone. My name is Dr. Joshua Prior. I am a chiropractor specializing in in-home treatments in the Greater Syracuse area.
Let me tell you a little about myself. As a young kid growing up in Phoenix, NY, I loved being able to learn and help out on our farm, Beforeland Farms, tending to cows, being outside and working along side my Dad. My Father, Dr. Dwight Prior, was a great example for me in many ways; one being a thorough and compassionate Chiropractor. That's right! Chiropractic care is in my bones. He taught me many important lessons about life and what it takes to be a truly amazing doctor.
I decided to attend SUNY Cortland, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. I then went on to New York Chiropractic College, in Seneca Falls, NY, where I completed my Doctor of Chiropractic degree. After graduation, I decided to try my hand at the big city life, and moved to Philadelphia, PA. After being there for several years, I decided that being home and with my family was worth the move back.
When I decided to come back home, I really wanted to do something that would help many people in many different situations. Providing in-home care for patients allows me to accommodate your needs in several ways. Not only does it give me the ability to help patients who may not have the flexibility or preference of going to an office setting, but it also allows me to help those patients who don't have the physical or situational ability to leave their home.
