You don’t need a special certification or formal training to perform CPR, but you do need education. If cardiac arrest happens to someone near you, don’t be afraid—just be prepared!

We are now scheduling BLS CPR courses starting May 19th. We have received dozens of phone calls from folks with certification that are expiring. Most employers are not offering courses so this means they will be unable to work without the CPR certification.
Class participants will observe appropriate social distancing and all courses can be found at www.cnycpr.com

As of this time, CNY CPR is adhering to the mandates provided by state and local governments. All CPR courses have been suspended until further notice. As soon as allowed, we will begin scheduling. *** Please note that the AHA has strongly suggested that each certification be extended by 60 days. Your employers or credentialing agencies have been notified of this. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have. Thank you and please be safe

At this time, all classes are going ahead as scheduled. I reached out the AHA today and they are recommending that each certifying body extend the certification expiration date by 60 days. This is a suggestion however and not a directive. Should you feel unsafe, ill or just unsure what to do, do not be afraid to reach out to us to discuss. You will be able to reschedule your course to a later date without fear of an extra charge or fee. The bottom line is that we want you all safe and sound. Use your best judgement but please keep us in the loop. 315-532-2538
