After chemo treatment, it's true that it can take years until you feel alive again... with side effects of chemo and radiation you will never be 100 % because your immune system is weak. Ruins marriages, family and friends. Because you're not the same again after cancer and treatments.
In the hardest moments your real friends are or people who hang with you through it all.
I wanted to share this for all who haveneen through cancer and those who have supported them from beginning to end.

Cancer is a very aggressive and destructive enemy of our bodies.
Even after treatment, the body is devastated, even in an attempt to restore the damage caused by treatment to fight the destruction to the body.. It's a very long process.

The disease has not given up or slowed, it has continued to attack scores of people. I too have had 2 family members thst have had cancer. We are blessed to say both are survivors of their cancer!
Yes, there are lingering issues for those who have had cancer, often even friends and family don’t see what they are fighting, they just know they have beaten cancer.

Tippens began taking fenbendazole, a common dog dewormer, along with Theracurmin (a potent form of turmeric) and CBD oil.
Within just three months, PET scans revealed no detectable cancer in his body. While no one can say definitively that this combination cured him, his recovery sparked viral attention and interest in a possible link between anti-parasitic dr*gs and cancer remission.
Fenbendazole is part of the benzimidazole class, which also includes ivermectin and mebendazole, all low-cost, widely available medications usually used to treat parasites. Lab studies suggest these drugs may interfere with cancer cell functions, such as energy production and division. Though mostly anecdotal, some integrative doctors are cautiously exploring these dr*gs as part of experimental protocols in tough cases.
Tippens's case is not proof of a cure, but it highlights an area of cancer research that is gaining momentum. Scientists are now taking a closer look at these overlooked medications that might hold unexpected promise for the future of cancer treatment.

In 1999, a hispanic gentleman was diagnosed with prostate cancer at age 61. He had no symptoms, just a routine check-up that led to a life-changing diagnosis. With courage and resilience, he underwent surgery and radiation. Today, at 87, he continues to thrive, reminding others: “Don’t give up hope. Do it for your family.”

Fifteen years later, a son faced the same diagnosis, at age 53. He leaned on his fitness, his family, and a trusted medical team. His recommended treatment was a robotic prostatectomy, a minimally invasive surgical procedure used to remove the prostate gland. From barely walking post-surgery to running a marathon 15 months later, his recovery is a reminder of what perseverance can achieve.

Their story doesn’t end there. the youngest son, is aware of his family history and risk. He is proactive about his health—getting tested regularly and staying informed. Though he has not been diagnosed with cancer, his vigilance reflects the family’s commitment to awareness, prevention, and early detection.

Together, this family represents the power of informed decisions, and the love of family. Their story is a reminder that survivorship is not just about getting through cancer—it’s about living fully, loving deeply, and lifting others along the way.

Cancer is the second leading cause of death among Hispanic people, accounting for 17% of deaths. Knowing your family history and personal risk, along with getting regular cancer screening tests can help find cancer early when it may be easier to treat.
