🌡️☀️ Heatwave Alert: Help Our Local Wildlife Stay Safe! ☀️🌡️

With extreme heat heading our way, it’s not just people who feel the strain—wildlife needs our help too. Here are a few simple ways you can make a BIG difference for the animals around you:

🪣 Leave out shallow bowls of water – Place them in shady spots. Add a few rocks or sticks so bees, birds, and small critters can safely access the water.

🌳 Keep pets indoors – Curious outdoor pets can scare or harm vulnerable wildlife seeking shelter from the heat.

🚗 Check under your car before driving – Small animals often crawl underneath for shade.

💦 Misting or sprinkling your garden – It can give birds and pollinators a much-needed cooldown.

🦌 Don’t disturb resting animals – If you see wildlife lying low in the shade or acting a bit sluggish, they may just be trying to conserve energy.

📞 And remember—if you see wildlife in distress, contact our hotline for guidance.
