1. I will no longer be accepting checks of any kind as a payment method for my services or products. I don't receive many checks in a year, so this impact should be minimal.
2. Following my pricing changes detailed in the previous post, I will also be introducing massage memberships in January 2025, which will get you a percentage discount on my services offered. Details for that to come in January.
3. Just a quick reminder to please reschedule with me if you are sick, or if the weather is bad. Massage will only make you feel worse if you are sick, and no massage is worth your life if the roads are crappy.
Temporarily, to ensure that ALL clients do not experience these changes until January 2025, I will be making it that new clients only have to pay a deposit. As of January 1st all new clients will be required to pay in full prior to their first appointment again, per policy.
Thank you for your understanding as I move to bring my pricing, pricing structure, and service menu more in-line with industry standards.

My holiday hours are as follows:
On December 16, 17, 19, 20, and 23 I will be closing early at 2pm. This will help facilitate my cookie bake-a-thon, but unlike years previous, I'm going to try out half-days instead of closing completely.
On December 21, 24, 26, 27, 28, and January 2 I will be closed completely for the holidays. The 21 is for cookies, to just have one whole weekend to the task. 24-28 is for Christmas, and the 2 is for New Years.

Ready to go! Come visit and start shopping small early in prep for the upcoming holidays! I'm here with gift certificates, and my array of handmade goodies including aromatherapy candles, jewelry, and more. The event runs from 10am-3pm at the Charlton Freehold Presbyterian Church.
Craft fair season is truly upon us, and I am going to be at The Charlton Freehold Presbyterian Church, inside, on September 21, 2024! The craft fair will be open from 10am to 3pm. I'll be bringing gift certificates with me, as well as my handmade aromatherapy items, handmade jewelry, and so much more. ๐
It's been a tough year for small businesses, so please if you can, come out and shop small for the holiday season that will all-too-soon be upon us. ๐ Nothing says "I care about your wellness" quite like a gift certificate to a nice self-care massage session after all. ๐

Goddess Hands Massage was born when I decided to make a career change in 2016. At that time I didnโt know Iโd be starting Goddess Hands Massage (GHM) specifically, but I had always known that someday Iโd be self-employed, and I knew in late 2016 that I needed something new. With the support of my family and friends (and at the time of writing this, fiance), I embarked on a new journey.
It started with an education at the Center for Natural Wellness School of Massage Therapy. Massage therapy was something I had considered for the past several years, but just didnโt see a way to make it happen; plus I didnโt know if it was the right path for me. In 2016 I made that leap, and in February of 2017 I went to my first class, met my fellow students, and dived head-first down the rabbit hole that was full-time enrollment.
Upon graduating in November of 2017, it was time to buckle down and keep the knowledge in my head until I could take the boards in January of 2018. The boards were challenging, but in March of 2018 I was officially licensed and able to practice massage in NYS! As soon as that happened, I went to work to get this started. I needed to find space, and I needed to save some start-up funds. In the mean time, I could travel, and I could work in a local salon and spa.
As of August 2018 I signed my first lease, and the true work began! Now it was time to prep the space, and get everything else one needs in order to be successful!
By late September this process was complete enough that I could officially declare myself open, and that is an extremely exciting thing to be able to say! For now, I have hours listed but Iโm truly only available by appointment only. Those are the hours in which I will accept appointments typically, some exceptions may apply. I look forward to meeting you on the table!
