The PATIENTS Program

The PATIENTS Program The PATIENTS Program partners with patients and care providers to answer questions about the best treatment options to improve health and quality of life.

PATIENTS stands for PATient-centered Involvement in Evaluating the effectiveNess of TreatmentS – which is exactly what it sounds like, and not as complex as it seems. We want to invite patients will all kinds of conditions to get more involved in their health care by making informed, empowered decisions. We also help connect patients with the research and clinical trials that are of interest to them. Our emphasis on patient advocacy fosters partnerships between patients and researchers. We believe that patients who are able to manage their own conditions are better able to share what works, and what doesn't, with researchers and health care providers. This translates to better health outcomes for generations to come.
