POV: you just learned your workout can boost the “love hormone” (oxytocin) 🤍

But it’s not just about intensity.
Oxytocin supports stress relief, pain modulation, and feeling safe + connected in your body—and certain kinds of movement help release it more than others.

Think: walking with a friend, yoga, supportive strength training, group classes, or hands-on work like PT.
It’s less about pushing harder and more about how your body feels while you move.

So ask yourself…
Do your workouts leave you feeling calm and grounded—or drained and disconnected?

The good news? You can choose movement that supports you—so you leave feeling stronger, calmer, and more like yourself… and maybe with a little extra oxytocin, too. ✨

Running should feel strong, efficient, and sustainable—not like you’re constantly waiting for the next injury.

If you’re dealing with knee pain, hip pain, or recurring injuries, a physical therapist can help get to the why behind what’s going on. We look at gait mechanics, load tolerance, strength, mobility, and how your body is handling training over time.
Instead of just resting and hoping things improve, PT can help you:
-identify movement patterns contributing to pain
-build strength and resilience
-improve running mechanics
-progress training safely so you can stay consistent

Because the goal isn’t just to run—it’s to keep running.
We’re also excited to share that our newest physical therapist, Dr. Julia Janczur PT, DPT, CMTPT/DN, RYT-500, E-RYT200 (she/they), is now available for booking starting April 14th!

Julia helps folks return to the activities they love, with a special interest in hypermobility syndromes, including Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS, hEDS), as well as running injuries and knee injuries.

If you’re ready to run without constant setbacks, we’d love to help. 💛 Link to book is in our bio!

Today is Alliance PT’s 3 year anniversary!! 🎉

3 years of clients, 3 years of PT students, and 3 years of building something really special together.

What started as a vision to provide the best possible orthopedic rehab in an inclusive, affirming space—has grown into a team we’re so proud of and a community we’re deeply grateful for. From our incredible clinicians to the people who trust us with their care every day, this place exists because of you.

Over the past 3 years, more than half of our patients have identified as LGBTQIA+, and that’s something we’re proud of. It’s an honor to create a space where people feel seen, supported, and taken seriously in their care.

Thank you for being part of this—whether you’ve been with us from the beginning or just found us recently. We’re really glad you’re here.
Here’s to 3 years… and everything still to come 💛

Happy Trans Day of Visibility 💙🩷🤍

To our trans community, and to the people who love and support you—we see you, we celebrate you, and we’re so grateful you’re here.

Trans people have always existed, and always will. Visibility matters, but it has to be met with real support—safety, respect, and access to affirming healthcare. Care that listens, affirms, and meets people where they are isn’t a luxury, it’s essential.

Today is about honoring the joy, resilience, and humanity of the trans community, while continuing to show up in ways that truly support and uplift.

We’re with you today and always 🤍
