We had so much fun (almost 2 hours worth) of tummy time today! Always love hosting these classes with a small group so we can dive in on questions, answers, techniques, and connection! We emphasized how regulation is key, and small movements can lead to bigger skills! Someone even settled into a safe tummy time nap.

SEEKING SPACE FOR CLASSES

Hi everyone! Now that im done studying, I finally have availability to start running tummy time/oral play classes again for newborns & precrawlers, along with starting solids classes!

I’m looking for spaces & places that would be interested in letting me host donation-based/pay what you can classes on select Fridays. I’m located in Severna Park but would love to host in 1-2 spots and make it somewhat of an ongoing thing based on my availability.

Please comment if you’re a business that’s interested in working together or if you have an idea- I’m open to it all 🫶

🌟 You CAN & SHOULD season your baby’s food when starting solids! Check out this no-salt added seasoning, perfect for veggies & meat! It can be super helpful for acceptance of a new flavor.
It’s available at Costco, and a similar option may be available at other wholesale stores!

New teether alert! 🚨
My best friend Molly found these at her local Target and kindly bought me 5 of them! I’ve been impressed with the products Nuby is coming out with.
PROS:
☑️ stick shaped to reach the back molar area
☑️ affordable ($5!)
☑️ accessible (in stores)
☑️ textured for tongue mapping/exploration
☑️softer resistive chewing practice for more hesitant chewers (babies who might say “meh” to using teethers)

If you want some free feeding advice, this is it!

Teethers are not just for teething- there’s a critical period of development starting at 3 months that involves mouthing anything and everything- your fingers, baby’s fingers, toys, teethers, blankets (if they desire 😂), which sets them up for success with a strong, stable jaw and tongue that’s felt all the feels and understands where it is in space.

Put some teethers with prongs and texture on your baby registry, or gift to someone who is expecting or has a young baby!
