Thank you United Hatzalah of Israel for being an incredible partner and keeping the people of Israel safe!

In a frightening moment for one family in Netanya, their 6-month-old baby developed a severe allergic reaction after trying cheese for the first time.

United Hatzalah volunteer Rafael Kahan rushed to the scene and administered an EpiPen, delivering a lifesaving dose of adrenaline just in time. The baby was then transported to Laniado Hospital for further care.

“There’s no doubt her life was saved thanks to the quick response,” Rafael shared.

Surgeons Under Fire — Saving Lives at Laniado! 🏥 🚀🚨

This morning, as sirens echoed through the Sharon area, a team at Laniado Hospital performed emergency abdominal surgery on a premature baby—without interruption. Thanks to our fully protected NICU, surgeons and anesthesiologists continued operating safely, despite the ongoing threat.

Laniado’s 12 fortified delivery rooms and protected NICU, opened just three years ago, are now in constant use. With rising demand since Operation Rising Lion began, our staff is working around the clock—supporting natural births, water births, C-sections, and more, all within secure, state-of-the-art facilities.

Ms. Eti Littig, head nurse of the NICU, shared:

"During past operations, we had to move premature babies into safe areas. Now, we simply close the doors and keep working. The protection gives everyone—staff and parents—peace of mind."

🇮🇱 Laniado continues to stand strong—protecting life under fire.

#1 in the Country!

We’re proud to share incredible news from the Tesler Academic School of Nursing at Laniado:
Every single student who took the recent national licensing exam passed — with an average score of 88, the highest in the country! (The national average was 81.)

And this didn’t happen in easy times.
Our students succeeded despite war, uncertainty, and immense challenges — proving their strength and resilience every step of the way.

As Dr. Esther Strauss, the school’s director, put it:
“I am so proud of our students. This is the result of daily hard work, personal mentorship, clinical training in hospital departments, and above all – dedication and seriousness.”
