We are delighted to announce that Chetan Bettegowda, M.D., Ph.D., the Jennison and Novak Families Professor of Neurosurgery at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, has been named the next director of the Department of Neurosurgery, effective May 15. After 25 years at the helm, Henry Brem, M.D., will be stepping down, and we look forward to honoring him in the coming months. Congratulations Dr. Bettegowda!
