Maryland SUN Bucks ayuda a las familias con niños en edad escolar a comprar comestibles cuando las comidas escolares no están disponibles. Las familias reciben $40 por mes durante los meses de junio, julio y agosto (un total de $120) por cada estudiante elegible.

Un niño en edad escolar es elegible para recibir beneficios bajo el programa Maryland SUN Bucks si:

• tiene entre 5 y 18 años de edad y su hogar recibe SNAP, TCA o beneficios de Medicaid;
• solicitó y recibió comidas gratuitas o a precio reducido durante el año escolar 2023-2024, o
• está en cuidado de crianza temporal.

NIÑOS INSCRITOS AUTOMÁTICAMENTE SI:

Una familia que participa en SNAP, TCA o Medicaid y/o ha solicitado y recibido Comidas Escolares Gratuitas y Reducidas (FARMS, en inglés) durante el año escolar 2023-2024, se inscribirá
automáticamente en el programa SUN Bucks de Maryland.
Además, los niños que están en cuidado de crianza temporal, sin hogar, migrantes o niños fugados de casa serán inscritos automáticamente.
¡Estas familias no necesitan presentar una
solicitud!

LAS FAMILIAS DEBEN PRESENTAR UNA SOLICITUD SI:

Un niño que está inscrito en una escuela del Programa de Elegibilidad Comunitaria (CEP, en inglés) que recibe automáticamente FARMS, que no está recibiendo activamente SNAP, TCA o Medicaid, y que no está en cuidado de crianza temporal no será inscrito automáticamente.
El padre/tutor del niño tendrá que presentar una solicitud y determinar si es elegible para inscribirse en el programa SUN Bucks de Maryland.
Las familias deben presentar su solicitud antes del 31 de agosto de 2024 para recibir los beneficios del verano de 2024.

Las familias con niños elegibles recibirán un aviso de elegibilidad por correo. ¡Presentar la solicitud en línea es rápido y fácil!
Las solicitudes comenzarán a recibirse a finales de junio de 2024. Solicite antes del 31 de agosto de 2024 para obtener todos

Launching Your Legacy
T. Rowe Price is committed to providing access and opportunities to diverse talent considering a career in asset management. In support of that commitment, we will be hosting our fourth annual Launching Your Legacy program.

T. Rowe Price’s Launching Your Legacy program is an opportunity for diverse undergraduate talent to gain exposure to careers in asset management, including investing and financial planning, creating technology solutions, supporting sales and client engagement, and enabling operations. We invite current undergraduate freshmen and sophomores to apply to this exploratory program, where you can learn from and make valuable connections with our professionals. PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Join other students from diverse backgrounds and participate in an exposure program designed to introduce you to career pathways at T. Rowe Price, including, but not limited to, Investments, Global Distribution (Sales & Client Engagement), Finance & Accounting, Investment Operations, and Technology.

This program will be hosted virtually on the evenings of April 10 and 11 from
5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. ET. Program components include:

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Journey Discussion
Investment Game
Network With T. Rowe Price Professionals
Successful participants will have an opportunity to be considered for 2025 early talent internship opportunities on an accelerated timeline.

ELIGIBILITY

Students with backgrounds that are traditionally underrepresented in finance, investing, or technology are encouraged to apply. This includes, but is not limited to, students who are female, Black, Hispanic or Latino, Native American, or LGBTQ+; students with disabilities; veterans; or those from socioeconomically challenged backgrounds.
All undergraduate students currently enrolled in a four-year program graduating between December 2025 and May 2027 are eligible to apply.

There is no cost to apply for the program, and there is no expectation or requirement for participants to utilize any T. Rowe Price services.
