Cutting foods out doesn’t make you allergic to them. Here’s what’s really going on…

Tired of hearing people say, “That diet made me allergic to everything”? Let’s set the record straight.

🔎 Elimination diets don’t create food issues. They help you uncover the hidden ones. That’s the whole point.

✅ Science shows that elimination diets like AIP, Whole30, or low-FODMAP are designed to help identify trigger foods by removing common culprits, allowing the gut and immune system to calm down.

📉 When inflammation decreases, your body becomes better at signaling what actually works and what doesn’t. So when a food is reintroduced and causes symptoms, it’s not new — it was likely masked by chronic inflammation before.

⚠️ True food allergies involve the immune system (IgE reactions) and are not created by removing foods. Sensitivities, which are often gut- or histamine-related, may become more obvious once the body has reset.
