It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved co-founder, Joy Glenner. A true pioneer and champion for families facing Alzheimer’s, Joy’s compassion and determination forever changed the landscape of dementia care. Together with her late husband, Dr. George G. Glenner, she opened the nation’s first nonprofit medical/social model adult day care center, an innovation that has brought comfort, dignity and hope to countless families.

Her vision and unwavering dedication created a legacy that continues to touch lives every day. We grieve this profound loss, honor the extraordinary impact she leaves behind and vow to continue the legacy that she and Dr. Glenner started. Joy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
