Baltimore Yoga Studies Baltimore Yoga Studies is a community yoga space committed to the practice of yoga in its many forms.

Justin Temple and Heather Hax believe yoga is as much a mental and spiritual practice as a physical one. It is also a space to cultivate a practice of service – using yogic practices in order to participate in the world mindfully and meaningfully. Based in the Ashtanga tradition, Baltimore Yoga Studies offers a four-day-a-week Mysore-style practice as well as led classes.

We've lucky to study with a bunch of AMAZING teachers who have inspired and supported us over the years! Here are pics from a bunch of workshops we've been excited to bring to our students.
In fact, this weekend you can study with one of our mentors - Jen René! Due to demand, we added a bit more space to her semi private (2 spaces available!) and Build A Better Backbend (we added 10 spaces!!!).

We started the Mysore program five years ago under the guidance of Kim Manfredi - then owner of Charm City Yoga. We were so nervous and excited to bring this special style of practice to Baltimore. Since then, Kim has moved to Palm Springs (we miss you Kim!) and Debbie and Heather have been so excited to work with budding ashtangis to build the program into the special community it is today. We couldn't have done it without Kim’s support; but we especially couldn’t have made it this far without YOU!

Time to celebrate 🎉

This month marks the 5 year anniversary of the Charm City Ashtanga Mysore program at our Midtown studio. The program has a special approach that allows each student to find the best ways to make progress in their yoga practice. Each teacher understands that not all students are alike and work with each student in a way that is appropriate for them as an individual.

If you are looking for a way to deepen your practice, give a Mysore-style practice a try! From the teachers to the students, the community is friendly and always looking forward to seeing new and familiar faces each morning in a loving space!
