I’m a Fitness, health, and wellness professional with over 20 years of experience in the field. I’m passionate about educating people in all aspects of their health and well-being, supporting them on their journey to becoming the best version of themselves.
Over the last 20 years, I've grown my practice as a fitness professional, from a movement based one conducting in person personal training sessions and group fitness classes to a well rounded holistic health and wellness practice. As a holistic wellness professional, not only do I teach, coach, and educate people on the benefits of movement based exercises, but also, on topics such as nutrition, stress reduction, and disease management.
In 2020, I’ve decided to take a leap of faith and take my business online and make my services available to everyone. We as human beings are in a physical and mental health crisis. Never before have we been so stressed, out of shape, and plagued by dis-ease. Just take a look at these numbers. According to the World Health Organization, (WHO) the worldwide obesity rate has nearly tripled since 1975. TRIPLED. In 2016, more than 1.9 billion adults, were overweight. Of these over 650 million were obese. Mental health is also declining. Nearly one in five U.S. adults live with a mental illness (46.6 million in 2017, NIH). Chances are you or a loved one are directly effected by obesity, mental health, or disease. By no means am I claiming to have the answers or cures for any of these serious illnesses. However, what I am suggesting is that diet, exercise, stress reduction techniques, and an overall healthy lifestyle gives you the upper hand in prevention, can help to mitigate your overall risk, and assist with recovery efforts if disease is present. Prevention is key, and knowledge is POWER.
