Happy 4th of July! Enjoy the holiday safely by staying hydrated, applying sunscreen, wearing sunglasses, and practicing firework and grill safety. Keep in mind that the use of fireworks are illegal in Maryland, unless you have a permit.

Due to firework shows, July 4th is often one of the days of the year with the worst air quality. If you have asthma or other lung diseases, make sure you have your inhalers and other respiratory medications on hand, in preparation for any lung disease exacerbations and pharmacy closures around the holiday.
