Federal Children’s Interagency Coordinating Council Seeking Lived Experts
The new Federal Children’s Interagency Coordinating Council is seeking up to 20 individuals with lived experience to help support the Council’s work across federal agencies. Selected applicants will work with the Council to inform research and assist in identifying policies, programs, and practices addressing children, youth, and families in poverty.
Lived experts are encouraged to have experience—
• Working with federal, state, and community partners focused on children, youth, and families in poverty.
• Supporting and/or working directly with children, youth, and families in poverty.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and be available up to 20 hours through December 2024. Lived experts will be compensated and receive training. Final selections are expected to be notified by April.
Applications are due by 5 p.m. ET on February 23, 2024.
