To say thank you, we treated our staff to Jimmy's Seafood, as a small gesture for the huge impact our team makes. It was great to take a moment to relax, enjoy some amazing food, and recognize the dedication, hard work, and heart our staff bring to the job every single day.

October 3rd is Larry’s Freedom Day.

Nearly 60 years ago, he arrived at what is now Nexus-Woodbourne Family Healing with very little, but hoping for a chance at something more. What he found was safety, encouragement, and the freedom to imagine a future.

That opportunity shaped a lifetime of curiosity — from studying abroad in Brazil to earning a degree at Georgetown and traveling the world. Today, at 73, Larry is still embracing new chapters and new possibilities.

The winter weather is the perfect time to enjoy some indoor fun! Our youth had a blast with each other and our Executive Director who stopped by the units to join in on a game of dodgeball. It was great to see our youth interact with each other and our staff making the most out of this chilly season.
