There are just a few more days to sign up for the class I'm offering this weekend, Embodying the Queens of Tarot: Using Visualization, Anchoring, Aroma and Acupoints to Align with the Queens.

This class is for you if your interest is piqued, whether you are familiar with Tarot or not. The Queens are powerful Yin expressions of the elemental archetypes of Fire, Water, Air/Metal and Earth. You know these energies even if you don't think you do!

This is not going to be a didactic or lecture oriented experience. We're talking about EMBODIMENT here. What I'm most excited about is that we will share an experience of connecting with the four Queen archetypes and will explore what we each learn through our own embodied experiences.

This is a powerful time to access energetic supports in deeply sourced, Yin expressions of service and leadership. This is important medicine for these turbulent and transformational times. Please join me if you're feeling the call!

New Class Offering: Embodying the Queens of Tarot - October 9, 3:30-6:30 pm in Hampden!

The Queens represent mastery in leadership and service that is rooted in the Divine Feminine -the Yin energies - and they symbolize extension into the world that arises from deep within. They exemplify remaining true to their inner world while operating in the outer. They guide us in doing the worldly work we came here to do. And that is precisely the medicine that is needed in these complicated times.

Join me in learning how to align with and receive support from each of the 4 Queens of the Tarot with anchoring practices, ritual, and using specific essential oils paired with acupoints to help these energies come to life in you when you need it most.

Tarot blows my mind all the time, but particularly so lately as I’ve committed to daily 3 card pulls and my relationship with the cards is deepening. Here’s a little window into my process:

What is present? The Chariot.

There is a breaking open that is happening. The vehicles of will, walls, and external orientation that have driven me up this point no longer serve – they are breaking down and from here on it is a more heart led and spirit centered approach. This card is ruled by Cancer – my own Sun sign – and it\’s the crab shell that is being shed and the vulnerability of deep waves of emotion being revealed as a path to greater Self possession and evolution.

What is the undercurrent? Five of Cups

A call to attend to the wounds, the sorrows, the grief and loss. I’ve spent all week, really, writing and writing on this content. Allowing this content to surface and finding more and more available to me that never has been before.

What am I learning? Temperance

Rebirth in co-creation with Spirit; surrender to the alchemy at hand and the mystery and patience inherent in that process. This card comes after the Death card – it is rebirth into new life and an initiation into getting more deeply that I can live on the planet in continual dynamic connection with Soul, balancing external and internal orientations and shedding defenses. Ruled by Sagittarius, it offers the healing invitation to live in balance, moderation and surrender.

For Acu peeps: if I were to create a treatment around this reading I would probably pair Yin Wei Mai opening point PC 6 with Yin Qiao Mai opening point KI 6 in an infinity loop (PC6 right, KI6 left, KI 6 right, PC6 left). There is a process at hand for me that is about using the Yin/inner resources in myself and standing and shining in the world while remaining connected to those deep waters. I would also touch LU 3, Window of the Sky point on Lung as an invitation into the grief and a reminder to hold it all in the light of the Divine love and transformation. Rose oil on Ren 15 💖💖💖

"Acupuncture treatment and my relationship with a caring practitioner changed the course of my life at a vulnerable time."

Check out my new blog post about how I first got into acupuncture almost 20 years ago, the huge impact it had on my life in a very messy time, and how that has shaped how I practice. It's a quick read. Please check it out!

WINTER SOLSTICE PRAYER by Mary Saracino

Deep night, Dark night
Night of the longest sigh
Soulful night, Sacred night
Night of the longest dreams
Cold night, Holy night
Night of unfurling desires
Womb of the world, Birther of hope
Bringer of peace and good will
Pray, pray for all good things
That suffering for all will end
That life will thrive and generosity reign
In the hearts of all humankind
That joy will rise and children will fly
On wings of prosperity
Oh hear our plea, this silent night
When the moon is round in the sky
When hopes are high and eyes are wide
with delight and audacity
May Love prevail tonight, and always
Leading us back to our Source
May we dance with the dark, without hesitation or fear
And savor her promise of plenty
Deep night
Dark night
Night of the longest sigh
May our weary hearts stay vigilant and receptive
To all that is loving and dear

When we are not in alignment it creates energetic drag. Operating off to the side of our Truth puts stress on the body and mind. And the body and mind tell us! We have aches and pains; digestive complaints; insomnia; headaches; anxiety and depression. We have difficulty accessing joy, creativity, focus and inspiration. Simply put, we are not well.

Acupuncture encourages and facilitates alignment with the calling of your heart. It wakes us up when we have become numb to that call.

Operating from our center, aligned with our heart, even when we have challenges to face we can access the grace and presence to do so in a way that allows us to transform, to learn and to further our personal evolution.
