Disability Support Services, Inc. Helping people secure Social Security Disability Benefits. We don't get paid unless you do. In addition, the regulations are constantly changing.

Disability Support Services (DSS), is a company that assists disabled individuals & families in obtaining medical and cash benefits from the Social Security Administration. The two major programs in which we offer assistance are:
(SSDI) Social Security Disability Insurance and (SSI) Supplemental Security Income. All of these areas are programs that have regulations that are rigorously enforced by

one or more government agencies. The process of obtaining benefits can be a rigorous ordeal to many of those who are in desperate need of financial assistance or healthcare. It is safe to say that more people who apply are denied than approved. Actually, national statistics indicate that over 70% of applicants are denied on their initial application. Sadly, a great many of the denied individuals are actually eligible. Disability Support Services will help you obtain the benefits, CASH and/or HEALTHCARE you deserve. If you are one of these individuals or know someone who is . . . we are here to help. Call Christopher Mazzulli at 410-558-0022 ex 1201 and he will arrange for a no charge - no obligation screening of your circumstance. If you have been denied within the last 60 days it is extremely important that you call ASAP! By not calling today it could mean that you will have to wait another YEAR for your benefits! The Social Security Administration doesn’t just look at whether you have a condition—they focus on whether it keeps you from working.

To be considered “totally disabled,” you must be unable to do the work you did before and unable to adjust to other work because of your condition. Plus, your disability must be expected to last at least one year or result in death.

It’s not about a specific diagnosis—it’s about how your condition limits your ability to earn a living.

Just because you're following doctor’s orders doesn’t mean your condition isn’t serious. 💊💬 Even with treatment, symptoms like fatigue, pain, or brain fog can make it hard to work consistently.

The SSA looks at how your condition affects your ability to function—not just whether you're getting care.

📌 If you’re struggling to work despite treatment, you may still qualify for disability benefits. Let’s talk about your options.

If you’ve had to miss work, cut your hours, or ask for help doing your job—write it down.

Keeping a record of days missed, reduced responsibilities, or workplace accommodations shows how your condition affects your ability to work. These real-life details help support your disability claim and show the impact your health has had over time.

A calendar, notebook, or even a simple phone note can go a long way.

Disability Tip 💡 We know we talk a lot about medical records. But they’re key to any disability case—and worth bringing up again.

It might seem obvious in this day and age, but having both digital and printed copies of your medical records is more important than you’d think. Especially if your care goes back years or involves multiple doctors.

Keeping things organized now can save you a lot of stress later.
