Peter Lamy Center on Drug Therapy and Aging The Lamy Center is named in honor of its founder, Peter P. Lamy, PhD, ScD (1925-1994).

Its mission is research, education, and clinical initiatives in geriatric pharmacotherapy.

Did you know older adults, particularly those over 85, have some of the highest su***de rates in the country? Coupled with the unique challenges faced by our Veteran community, it’s clear mental health is a priority for every generation.

The Baltimore County Department of Health, in partnership with the Baltimore County Veteran Su***de Prevention Coalition and the Maryland National Guard, is hosting a different kind of su***de prevention training, combining comedy with life-saving education. Through humor and personal stories, this event will show you how to have open, supportive conversations, giving you the confidence to offer mental health first aid when it matters most.
