Their dedication to educating and inspiring our scholars plays a key role in the MERIT journey!

🌟Staff Spotlight: Kirsten Annan🌟

Meet Kirsten!

Her MERIT journey began in 2018 as a scholar, and after graduating from the program in 2022, she’s continued to provide tremendous support to the MERIT community! She’s held various roles, including an Anatomy & Physiology TA in the Summer of 2023, a Program Coordinator for the 2023-24 school year, and now she serves as an Administrative Assistant and oversees the MERIT Leadership Council.

Beyond MERIT, Kirsten earned her Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) and Phlebotomy certifications last year and will be putting them to use this summer at the Maryland Pediatric Cardiology Clinic in Baltimore, MD. 🩺👩🏽‍⚕️

We’re grateful for all the work she does—thank you, Kirsten! 💙
