We have been lucky enough to partner with for nearly 20 years now with their pediatric physicians. These doctors generally rotate through our clinic every 4 weeks as they complete their adolescent medicine rotations. They are extremely bright and compassionate healthcare providers and we welcome their critical care experience in our office 🏥

This semester we will continue to introduce each doctor at the start of their rotation, so that Loyola students are able to put faces to names of providers they saw (as these doctors are not on our staff page on website). Welcome Dr. Barootkoob 💚🤍!

⏰ If you’ve felt a little off since Sunday, it could be because of DST.

👉 The change does affect your sleep and in some people it may increase risks in cardiovascular health, diabetes, and poor mental health.

As a student, you may notice your ability to focus, learn or pay attention it’s just not where it should be. But not to worry – small habits such as the ones above can help your body clock bounce back in just a few days! 💚

Spring break was fun… but the sickness after? Not so much 🤧

Travel, sleep deprivation, alcohol, and crowded environments make it easy for viruses to spread — which is why so many college students get sick when they get back to campus.

Honoring the legacy. Celebrating the impact. Continuing the work. 🩺✨

This Black History Month, we recognize the trailblazers who transformed healthcare and paved the way for future generations — including Mary Eliza Mahoney R.N, Kizzmekia S. Corbett, Ph.D., and Henrietta Lacks.

Their contributions shape the care we give and the science we trust today. 💚

👏🏼 Shoutout to our awesome Health Promotion Assistant Dorel for researching and creating the post 📲.

❤️ Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States. But you can do a lot to protect your heart.

🫶🏼 Practicing self-care can keep our hearts healthy. Being physically active, eating healthier foods, getting enough sleep, not smoking, and finding healthy ways to reduce stress can help prevent heart disease. And, when we take care of our hearts, we set an example for those around us to do the same.
