We are an innovative therapeutic residential and outpatient treatment program supporting veterans who are overcoming obstacles to regain self-sufficiency. Volunteers provide and serve meals, organize in-kind donation drives, coordinate service projects, and lead classes for our residents. In 2022, we had 1,430 volunteers serve 176 meals amounting to over $45,000 saved from those meal services! Volunteers truly make a difference in our men’s lives and on their journey to recovery.

What does Work Therapy look like?

At The Baltimore Station, it looks like:

⭐Sweeping and cleaning
⭐Cooking meals
⭐Loading donations
⭐ Maintaining the grounds
⭐ And more!

But it’s also so much more. It’s structure. It’s pride. It’s showing up. And thanks to your support, it’s paid.

A stipend gives each veteran the pride of earning wages, something they carry into the workforce after graduation.

Meet Randolph, a graduate of The Baltimore Station.

After months in the Work Therapy Program, Randolph reflects on how working through art has helped him on his journey to self-sufficiency. He is now closing on a house, earning a steady income, and working on his mental health journey.

It all started with Work Therapy here at The Station.

This program works—but only with your support. Help fund more success stories like Randolph’s.

Today, we’re kicking off Work Works: Fund a Year of Change to raise $10,000 in 7 days for the Work Therapy Program here at The Baltimore Station, because helping veterans in recovery turn their lives around means more than giving them structure. It means giving them purpose, routine, and a paycheck.

With a paycheck and a purpose, they have the confidence to re-enter the workforce.

$20 = helps one day’s stipend for a veteran in Work Therapy.

Join us in supporting the journey to self-sufficiency, one paycheck at a time.

Nothing beats a day at the ballpark! Thanks to the Baltimore Orioles, 9 of the men and 2 staff enjoyed the O’s vs. Athletics game from the comfort of a suite. The game was complete with a ballpark lunch and a special chance to see the field up close before the first pitch.

We’re grateful for opportunities like this, where the men can relax, have fun, and cheer on the hometown team. Go O’s! 🧡🖤

It’s National Wellness Month, a great reminder to take care of ourselves inside and out!

At The Baltimore Station, wellness means more than just physical health. It’s about supporting our veterans’ minds, bodies, and spirits as they work toward healing and a fresh start.

Whether it’s through good food, mental health support, or just having a community that cares, the Baltimore community and our staff are here for every step of the journey.

How are you taking care of yourself this month? Drop a comment and let us know!
