🏠Welcome home! This month, Health Care for the Homeless Case Manager Lauren Stokeling-Brewer welcomed tenants to Mulberry Supportive Housing. This historic Mt. Vernon building was converted by Episcopal Housing Corporation into 9 apartments for people exiting homelessness. Lauren has an office on the first floor to offer ongoing support to residents, both with settling in and maintaining their housing long-term.

On Thanksgiving Day, November 27th, the University of Maryland School of Medicine will be hosting its Project Feast. There will be a free Thanksgiving meal for those who need a meal from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Booker T. Washington Middle School at 1301 McCulloh St., Baltimore, MD 21217. 🏠💙 This Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, the AstraZeneca Foundation is highlighting the work of Health Care for the Homeless, a Creating Health Access for Next Generation Equity (CHANGE) grant awardee!

Located in Baltimore, Health Care for the Homeless works to end homelessness through equitable healthcare, house and advocacy in partnership with those who have experienced it.

Combining comprehensive care and supportive services, Health Care for the Homeless meets individuals where they are, engaging them with dignity and respect. Last year, Health Care for the Homeless reached more than 12,000 adults and children, while working to:
✨ Provide high-quality preventative care and chronic disease management
✨ Ensure dignity in every interaction
✨ Reduce barriers to healthcare access
