☀️ UV (ultraviolet) radiation comes from the sun and artificial sources like tanning beds. The two main types that reach your eyes are:

UVA: Can pe*****te deep into the eye and contribute to aging-related eye issues.

UVB: Mostly absorbed by the cornea and lens but can still do a lot of damage.

Wear sunglasses that block 100% of UVA and UVB rays. Look for labels like “UV400” – that means full protection.

Polarized lenses don’t offer more UV protection but they reduce glare, especially around water and roads.
