If you’re extra busy… this retreat was made for you ♥️
There’s a Zen adage that I love:
“You should sit in meditation for 20 minutes a day — unless you’re too busy. Then you should sit for an hour.”
I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately when people tell me they feel drawn to Held Together…but don’t feel like they have the time to step away.
Not because of a scheduling conflict. But because slowing down itself feels impossible.
If that’s you, I want you to hear this gently:
This retreat was designed specifically for people who feel like they can’t afford to slow down.
Held Together isn’t about escaping your responsibilities.
It’s about changing how you relate to time, energy, resources, and relationships, so your way of showing up becomes more sustainable, humane, and nourishing.
So many of us are living inside quiet, self-extractive patterns.
We overextend.
We rush.
We say yes before checking in with our bodies.
We hold more than is actually ours.
We normalize depletion… and then try to recover only after we’re already burned out.
This retreat creates the conditions to step out of that cycle long enough to see it clearly.
Together, we slow the pace just enough to ask different questions:
-What is actually essential right now?
-Where is your energy being spent without real return?
-What rhythms would support you instead of drain you?
-What kinds of relationships and structures would help you stop doing everything alone?
This isn’t about getting better at managing overwhelm. It’s about designing a life and way of working that reduces overwhelm in the first place.
If you’ve been telling yourself you’ll take care of your nervous system, creativity, and sustainability after things calm down…
This is a quiet invitation to reverse that order. Because things rarely slow down on their own. We create new rhythms by choosing them.
