Just wrapped MotherlandCo.'s Practicum Program with our very first intern, Nelly!!
Nelly will be graduating from Salisbury University's- UMGC Europe program this month. She completed 672.50 hours to graduate! This was a compilation of training required by Salisbury, client hours, supervision, workshops and special projects.
I am so excited for her future! She's going to be a dynamic social worker! Nelly will be moving to New York State to start her social work career while continuing her love of travel.
From Nelly: "I loved the flexibility this internship offered and learning the inner workings of a private practice. I also learned so much about perinatal mental health and that social work is more than what we're taught in school."

Nelly comes with a passion for empowering individuals and families. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Kean University and is currently pursuing her Master's in Social Work at Salisbury University-UMGC Europe. Her dedication to fostering positive change and her commitment to culturally affirming care make her a valuable addition to the team. 💪🏾
