If you ask any therapist why they were drawn to this profession, most of them would answer with, "I wanted to help people". Danielle wanted to help people navigate through life in more fulfilling ways. She aspired to teach people how to be in relationship with their mothers and fathers. Danielle wanted to give couples the tools they need to be the husbands and wives they want to be, not the husbands and wives their parents were. Working out of 2 locations, Baltimore city and Largo, she is committed to doing this. Danielle's main focus is working with Couples around issues of trust, communication, forgiveness after infidelity, intimacy, s*x and decision making (finances, children, etc.). She does pre-marital therapy and marital/relational enrichment. Danielle mainly uses Emotion-Focused Therapy & Solution-Focused Therapy. Danielle also sees individuals and does group therapy. As a licensed graduate marriage and family therapist, Danielle is trained in understanding how to see things relationally, not just individually. She is versed in locating where behaviors, beliefs, ideas, and feelings originate, how they affect our lives and relationships, and how to effectively manage and/or change them. Along with therapy services, Danielle offers professional doula and training services. She also writes a blog that discusses many things including "keys to communication", "rekindling your s*xual relationship", and much more.

We started class this week with a body scan focused on the neck and shoulders — one of the places we tend to hold the most tension and stress.
So many of us carry the weight of the day right here… tight shoulders, stiff necks, shallow breath.
In class we slowed down, checked in with our bodies, and practiced gentle neck rolls, shoulder rolls, and progressive muscle relaxation to release what we didn’t even realize we were holding.
Your body deserves moments of softness too.
Join me in the next class and let’s practice together. ✨

March is FULL. 🌸✨
And I mean that in every sense of the word.
From Sensual Zen flows… to spring awakening… to community yoga… to glazing and grounding with clay — this month is about movement, connection, and coming back to yourself.

Whether you need to shake something off, soften into community, create with your hands, or awaken something that’s been hibernating… there’s space for you here.
Baltimore. Annapolis. Temple Hills.

WE outside (and inside) doing the work. 💛
Come move. Come breathe. Come be.
Which date am I seeing you? 👀🌿

February clocked out but the culture didn’t.
We still Black.
Still beautiful.
Still brilliant.
Still healing.
Still dancing.
This isn’t seasonal.
This is cellular.
This is ancestral.
This is every single day.
The rhythm in my hips? Heritage.
The joy on my face? Resistance.
The confidence in my body? Legacy.
We still Black Black.
All year. Every year. 🖤✊🏾

Learning these lessons like a G.
Not in big dramatic leaps.
Not in one clean breakthrough.
In titration.
In small, regulated doses.
In moments where I stretched… and then steadied.

Self-grace balanced with accountability.
Boundaries rooted in power — not helpless waiting.
Recovery from codependency and breaking cycles that I thought I’d be stuck in forever.

And here’s the part people don’t talk about:
There is loss in becoming.
Not because I’m becoming “more me.”
I’ve always been me.
But I am interacting differently now.

I respond differently.
I tolerate differently.
I choose differently.
And every new response means an old version doesn’t get to run the show anymore.

There’s grief in that.
There’s tenderness in that.
There’s a quiet goodbye to patterns that once kept me safe.
It was never about control.
It was about recognizing where my power lives.

Power isn’t forcing outcomes.
It’s choosing how I show up.
There are things I can’t control.
There are things I can.
And I always have power.

Growth often isn’t loud.
Sometimes it’s a nervous system learning it doesn’t have to survive the same way anymore.

What are you looking forward to this year?
What are you excited about?
What are you calling in?
I’m moving like I already believe good things are coming.
Planned, intentional… and still present enough to enjoy it as it unfolds.
This is your reminder to celebrate what’s ahead of you —
the growth, the fun, the opportunities, the version of you that’s on the way.
Yes, we plan. Yes, we execute.
But we also get to feel excited while we’re on the way there.
So tell me…
what are you looking forward to right now? 💃🏽✨

02/20/2026

Somewhere along the way, we were taught that being proud of ourselves meant we were being arrogant… so we dim our light, downplay our wins, and rush past our growth. But self-celebration isn’t conceit — it’s acknowledgment. It’s saying, “I showed up. I tried. I grew. I did that.”
You are allowed to feel good about yourself without shrinking.
You are allowed to name your progress out loud.
You are allowed to celebrate the things you’ve done well.
Pride in self builds confidence, not ego.
So today, pause and honor something you’re proud of — big or small.
What are you proud of? ✨

Affirmation from Past Danielle → Present Danielle:
“I am capable of so much more than I knew.”
2025 me planted seeds.
She rested when she could, pushed when she had to, and believed even when she was unsure.
Because of her, I’m here.
Because of her, I keep going.
Because of her, I know there’s even more unfolding.
Today’s add-on:
I trust the version of me that dared.
I honor the version of me that survived.
I celebrate the version of me that’s rising.
I’m still becoming… and I like where this is going.
Let’s gooooo. 🔥✨

Let your elbows lead ➡️
then your chest 💓
shoulders… hips… knees…
until the whole body joins the conversation ✨
Every part of you has a voice if you let it take a turn.
This is movement therapy.
This is listening.
This is letting the body speak before the mind explains.
Movement is medicine 🌀
Not for performance—
for release, regulation, and remembering yourself.
Your body doesn’t need a full routine today.
It just needs a moment to lead.
Roll a shoulder. Circle your hips.
Let one body part start the conversation and see where it takes you.
Move your body today, even a little 🌱
Spring is waking us up for a reason.
🌸 Join me this March for a Spring Awakening 🌸
I’m gathering with a collective of beautiful, heart-led wellness facilitators for a powerful experience of movement, healing, and community. If your body has been asking for renewal, softness, and liberation… this is your invitation.
Come move with us. Come thaw with us.
Come remember yourself. 💫
After hibernation comes the awakening… the spring bloom 🌷

01/29/2026

What if this happened for you, not to you? 💭 Pause with that. How would your feelings shift? How might your story change? And how might that reframe your next step? Sit with it and see what opens up. ✨

01/29/2026

Message of the Day 🌱
Forgive yourself for not knowing—
time hadn’t had the chance to teach you yet.
And remember… now you know. ✨
