If you ask any therapist why they were drawn to this profession, most of them would answer with, "I wanted to help people". Danielle wanted to help people navigate through life in more fulfilling ways. She aspired to teach people how to be in relationship with their m

others and fathers. Danielle wanted to give couples the tools they need to be the husbands and wives they want to be, not the husbands and wives their parents were. Working out of 2 locations, Baltimore city and Largo, she is committed to doing this. Danielle's main focus is working with Couples around issues of trust, communication, forgiveness after infidelity, intimacy, s*x and decision making (finances, children, etc.). She does pre-marital therapy and marital/relational enrichment. Danielle mainly uses Emotion-Focused Therapy & Solution-Focused Therapy. Danielle also sees individuals and does group therapy. As a licensed graduate marriage and family therapist, Danielle is trained in understanding how to see things relationally, not just individually. She is versed in locating where behaviors, beliefs, ideas, and feelings originate, how they affect our lives and relationships, and how to effectively manage and/or change them. Along with therapy services, Danielle offers professional doula and training services. She also writes a blog that discusses many things including "keys to communication", "rekindling your s*xual relationship", and much more.

Yoga at the Farm is back next month šŸ§˜šŸ¾ā€ā™€ļøšŸŒæšŸ

Come move your body, breathe in some fresh farm air, meet the animals, and enjoy the land — the sights, the sounds, the peace, the vibes.

And yes… you can grab local honey and eggs directly from the farm while you’re there šŸÆšŸ„š

This is more than a yoga class. It’s connection, community, nature, and a little nervous system reset.

šŸŒæšŸŽāœØ Yoga at the Farm is BACK and this is your sign to come play outside āœØšŸŽšŸŒæ
Let’s clear something up real quick…
Yoga is NOT just stretching and cute poses (even though we love a good pose šŸ’…šŸ½).
Yoga is connection.
Connection to your body.
To your breath.
To nature.
To community.
To something bigger than you.
It’s about union… and baby, what better place to practice that than on the land, surrounded by horses, fresh air, and good energy??
This experience is giving:
šŸŒž sunshine on your skin
šŸŽ grounding with the animals
šŸ§˜šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø movement that feels GOOD in your body
šŸ’› community, laughter, and real connection
No pressure. No perfection. Just you… showing up as you are.
So whether you’re deep in your practice or just curious what yoga really is…
this is your space to explore it in a way that actually feels alive.
✨ Spots are limited (and you know the farm vibes go fast)

Inner Child Healing: Part 3 šŸ¤
Close your eyes and take a breath…
There’s a younger version of you still within—waiting to be seen, heard, and held.
In this meditation, we’re not fixing or forcing anything.
We’re simply showing up.
Listening to what brought you joy.
Honoring what you needed.
And recognizing the ways you’ve already begun to become that safe, loving adult.
This is your invitation to soften.
To reconnect.
To come home to yourself.
Are you ready to listen? ✨

Part 2: Listening to Your Inner Child šŸ¤āœØ
What did younger you need… that you didn’t always receive?
Was it to be held a little longer?
To be told ā€œI’m proud of youā€?
To feel safe expressing your emotions without being shut down?
Take a moment to sit with that.
Your inner child is not in the past—they’re still within you, still hoping to be heard, seen, and cared for.
And the beautiful part is…
you get to be the one who shows up for them now.
So ask yourself gently:
How can I give myself today what I needed back then? šŸ’šŸ’«

03/28/2026

What lit you up when you were little? ✨
Before the world told you who to be… you already knew what felt like joy.
This is the beginning of our Inner Child Hearing & Healing series—
a space to slow down, listen, and reconnect.
Episode 1 invites you to gently explore:
What made you feel alive?
What did you love, just because?
Your inner child is still speaking…
Are you ready to listen? šŸ’›

Soft strength, deep breath, and a little spine love ✨
Expanding in star, melting through cat/cow, letting my body speak and soften.
What is your body asking for today—expansion or release? šŸ–¤

Self-soothing doesn’t always look like sitting still and meditating. Sometimes it looks like touching your body.
In class today we practiced a few simple ways to help the nervous system settle using self-touch:
✨ Squeezes – giving the muscles a little pressure
✨ Rubs – warming up the skin and bringing awareness back to the body
✨ Scratches – waking up sensation and circulation
✨ Shakes – releasing stored tension and stress
✨ Pats – rhythmic tapping that can feel grounding and regulating
These small movements help your body remember safety, sensation, and presence.
When stress shows up, your body doesn’t always need a complicated solution.
Sometimes it just needs a little touch and attention.
Try one today and notice what shifts. šŸ’«

We started class this week with a body scan focused on the neck and shoulders — one of the places we tend to hold the most tension and stress.
So many of us carry the weight of the day right here… tight shoulders, stiff necks, shallow breath.
In class we slowed down, checked in with our bodies, and practiced gentle neck rolls, shoulder rolls, and progressive muscle relaxation to release what we didn’t even realize we were holding.
Your body deserves moments of softness too.
Join me in the next class and let’s practice together. ✨

March is FULL. 🌸✨
And I mean that in every sense of the word.
From Sensual Zen flows… to spring awakening… to community yoga… to glazing and grounding with clay — this month is about movement, connection, and coming back to yourself.

Whether you need to shake something off, soften into community, create with your hands, or awaken something that’s been hibernating… there’s space for you here.
Baltimore. Annapolis. Temple Hills.

WE outside (and inside) doing the work. šŸ’›
Come move. Come breathe. Come be.
Which date am I seeing you? šŸ‘€šŸŒæ

February clocked out but the culture didn’t.
We still Black.
Still beautiful.
Still brilliant.
Still healing.
Still dancing.
This isn’t seasonal.
This is cellular.
This is ancestral.
This is every single day.
The rhythm in my hips? Heritage.
The joy on my face? Resistance.
The confidence in my body? Legacy.
We still Black Black.
All year. Every year. šŸ–¤āœŠšŸ¾

Learning these lessons like a G.
Not in big dramatic leaps.
Not in one clean breakthrough.
In titration.
In small, regulated doses.
In moments where I stretched… and then steadied.

Self-grace balanced with accountability.
Boundaries rooted in power — not helpless waiting.
Recovery from codependency and breaking cycles that I thought I’d be stuck in forever.

And here’s the part people don’t talk about:
There is loss in becoming.
Not because I’m becoming ā€œmore me.ā€
I’ve always been me.
But I am interacting differently now.

I respond differently.
I tolerate differently.
I choose differently.
And every new response means an old version doesn’t get to run the show anymore.

There’s grief in that.
There’s tenderness in that.
There’s a quiet goodbye to patterns that once kept me safe.
It was never about control.
It was about recognizing where my power lives.

Power isn’t forcing outcomes.
It’s choosing how I show up.
There are things I can’t control.
There are things I can.
And I always have power.

Growth often isn’t loud.
Sometimes it’s a nervous system learning it doesn’t have to survive the same way anymore.
