Sober Journey Home:
Affordable Independent Supportive Sober Living
Sober Journey is an independent, supportive sober living, shared residential home for adults who choose to live in a clean, alcohol- and drug-free environment. Residents live independently, manage their own daily needs, and participate in a cooperative household structure that emphasizes personal responsibility, peer support, and community living.
This type of home is not a treatment facility, medical program, or licensed healthcare setting. It does not provide clinical therapy, medical care, or professional counseling services. Instead, it offers stable housing, clear house expectations, and a supportive sober community where individuals can maintain recovery, build life skills, and work toward long-term independence.

Addiction & Recovery
Addiction is when someone can’t stop using a substance or repeating a behavior, even though it is hurting them or the people around them. It changes how the brain works, which can make stopping very hard without support.
Recovery can start at any time. It often begins when a person decides to ask for help, accept support, and take steps toward a healthier life. Living in a clean, alcohol- and drug-free home can make a big difference by providing safety, stability, positive influence, and a supportive community where people can focus on healing, building routines, and moving forward.
