We are a Joint Commission approved provider of Outpatient Mental Health Clinic and Psychiatric Rehabilitation that contributes to the mental well being of individuals in the Baltimore region. Some people have physical strengths, some soar academically and some are mentally advanced. However, all people may face difficulties emotionally that no matter how gifted the child is, requires help. Needing help to become emotionally healthy doesn’t make you crazy- it makes you willing enough to become greater than you already are. To help you grow to their maximum potential without the struggle of balancing a behavioral health issue alone. Self-stigma happens when someone with mental illness applies negative public views to themselves. They observe others’ negative attitudes.
Often, they believe they are unworthy or should be able to control their symptoms through willpower.

When someone takes on beliefs like these, it’s easy for them to feel isolated, misunderstood, or that they’re the underdog.
