Bandera Funeral Chapel was honored to assist in a meaningful community effort to fulfill the final wishes of a 94-year-old Bandera resident, Buddy Tryon. His request? To be laid to rest beside his wife in the historic Bandera Cemetery.
Thanks to the collaboration of Precinct 3 Commissioner Jack Moseley, Lynn Palmer of the Historical Society, and his granddaughter Gracie Mendoza, we helped gather the necessary information for the state and stood before the Bandera County Commissioners Court on June 12.
It was our privilege to speak on behalf of the family and offer a donation of a memorial marker when the time comes.
It’s moments like these that remind us how deeply personal and powerful end-of-life decisions can be.
