Cedars and Sycamores Sanctuary is a simple primitive *tent* campground for the specific use of those who have lost a loved one to the trauma of opioid addiction/fentanyl poisoning and wish to connect with others who have experienced the same loss, grief and alienation from society because of it. round, the Sanctuary is located on a private homestead of 4 acres near the City of Bandera. You'll have access to an outdoor kitchen, TV and stereo, a campfire, a small grill and a camp toilet. While the campground is continually being improved, amenities are few but the camaraderie is awesome. Access to WiFi is available, and outlets for charging your devices can be used. Eventually an outdoor shower will be added and more designated sites, additional camp toilets and updated communal areas. Some of the proposed additions can be seen in the photos on this page. While there is not a set fee for camping, The Sanctuary is operating solely on your donations. That can be in the form of money, labor or physical items that are necessary for The Sanctuary to survive. Everything is appreciated, no matter how large or small the donation might be. There is also a small thrift and gift consignment shop on site which helps support The Sanctuary.
