Hours are 1st shift (8am-4pm), 2nd (4pm-12am), and 3rd (12am-8am) including weekends. 1-year experience preferred. Paid training is provided.
IMMEDIATE HIRE:
**DECATUR LOCATION FULL-TIME: 2nd / 3rd SHIFT 80-hour Bi-Weekly
**$2.00 Direct Care Wage increase until further notice.
General Duties:
As a direct care staff, your job will be to provide community living supports and personal care based on an individualized plan of service. This may include:
Bathing
Dressing
Toileting
Meal Preparation
Passing Medication
Transferring and ambulation support
Housekeeping
Transportation
Follow through and execute individual Treatment Plan and/or Behavior Plan
Providing social interaction with individuals by participating in activities such as reading, writing letters, playing games, etc.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalency
Full Background Check
Complete Medical Clearance
Valid regular MI driver's license. Responsible driving record
Successfully complete all required training within 30 days of hire.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Willing to work on weekends and rotating Holidays
A desire to assist individuals with developmental disabilities and other challenges in their personal growth
1 year or some experience
