Congratulations, Ben!

Husson University honored four retiring faculty and staff members today with a retirement recognition and tree planting ceremony. Together, they have contributed 106 years of service to our community. This lilac tree will stand as a lasting tribute to their dedication and the positive impact they’ve had on our students.

Congratulations to Doug Parent and Ben Sidaway, as well as Ed Mestieri and Jeri Stevens, who were recognized in absentia.

Husson PT students participated in the Downtown Bangor spring cleanup event. At the waterfront, students painted picnic tables and planters, cleaned up debris, and covered graffiti. ☀️💛🦅💚

This is a reminder that our Annual Wheelchair Basketball Tournament is coming up on Saturday, April 11th from 9AM-2PM. The last day to sign up teams will be THIS FRIDAY, April 3rd @11:59PM to give enough time to build a schedule for those traveling from Southern Maine. So far we have a great turn out of 12 teams signed up, thank you to everyone that has signed up! If anyone knows any alumni, please reach out as OPTS would love to host an alumni team this year as well.

Join Husson DPT students, alongside licensed professionals, for a FREE Physical Therapy Screening on April 3rd! This event is designed for cancer survivors, caregivers, and community members, and will be held at the Beth C. Wright Cancer Center in Ellsworth, ME. Come learn more about improving mobility, balance, and strength, along with ways to stay active and move safely. All ability levels are welcome!
