We are currently seeking part time help in the office. The right individual for the job would be someone who is task oriented, has good time management, good people skills and is compassionate to those that are grieving.

This position would be 2 days a week, Wednesday and Friday, 8-5, with opportunity for additional days from time to time.

Brookings - Smith is currently seeking compassionate and responsible people to assist with transferring decedents from the place of death, assisting with funerals, and graveside services.

Candidates must possess a passion for helping others, have high ethical and moral standards, good communication skills, and be able to lift. 

We require professional attire for this position, as well as a clean and neat appearance. You must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a background check.

Hours for this part time position include weekdays, nights, some weekends, and holidays.

Pay includes an hourly wage plus a stipend for each on call transfer.

Wondering what to wear to a digital funeral? Wear whatever feels right to you! If you feel like dressing up to honor your loved one, do so. If you prefer to be comfortable, that's great too. Maybe wear their favorite color, or for the sports fan, their favorite team's jersey. Whatever you choose, don't forget to engage in the service and show the family support to help you view the funeral as a funeral - helping you prepare to grieve.
