Adorable kitties without homes is a big problem just about everywhere. On this month's Eye on the Poconos, Dr. Belanger visits Cozy Kitty Cafe in Stroudsburg - the very first cat cafe in the Poconos. In just a few short weeks in business, Cozy Kitty Cafe has connected nearly 40 cats with their forever homes. Although adoption is the primary mission here, a cat cafe brings so much more to the community. Join us for a visit as we explore this unique Pocono business.

As some of you may have already heard... our neighbor, dear friend, and retired firefighter Michael Crawford was recently diagnosed with esophageal cancer.

In an effort to help ease any financial worries, we are planning a rigatoni and meatball fundraiser at the Hunlock Creek Fire Hall on Sunday, August 31st from 1:00 - 6:00pm.

In addition to the dinner, we will also be having a 50/50 drawing, basket raffle, and bake sale!!

Women in the Poconos have a new place to explore. On this month's Eye on the Poconos, Dr. Belanger does a little shopping at Dot + Jo Boutique on Crystal St. in East Stroudsburg. This upscale shop prides itself in offering something for everyone (even men) at tremendous prices. It's a big city look without the cost and that works just fine in this ever growing shopping district in E'burg. And its not only about shopping here. An amazingly comfortable back room is used for women self care workshops, paint and sips and other fun community building activities. Doing something for yourself was never so much fun. Join us for a look around.
